The host and staff have gone out of their way to welcome me. The location is stunning. The beautiful resort is an oasis here in the jungle. I love everything about my suite. It is the best kept secret. I will recommend to all of my friends and coworkers.

This was my favorite hotel stay ever, and I've stayed in some cool places around the world. My boyfriend and I stayed for a week and it was like staying in a home away from home, so comfortable and clean, with such cute boho style decor, complete with macrame hanging plants and a dream catcher hanging by the bed. Every morning was perfectly relaxing, with Gastón the owner making me an espresso and playing excellent mood music. The chef prepared us breakfast (complimentary!) each morning and everything was delicious; we had tried everything on the menu by the time our trip ended. I am still missing those acai smoothie bowls with kiwi and other fresh fruit on top! I noticed a negative review here and I have to say, the person who wrote it should stick to the corporate-run, crowded chain hotels, because they aren't the type of person who can appreciate a quaint, tasteful place like this. Not only was Gastón the owner attentive and going out of his way to check on us to make sure we had everything we needed, but he also became a friend by the end of the week, a really wonderful person! You can really see how carefully he selected the decor and style of both the indoor and outdoor space to make it chic, cozy, and aesthetically pleasing. It has such character. It's also tucked away from the main road so it's nice and quiet. Also, the negative review mentioned the holiday and having the food made the night before - this is explained before your stay, and it's not a big deal, just use common sense - on that day, don't order the eggs, order the oatmeal or acai smoothie bowl or one of the options that are optimal for eating cold. Also, this is completely complimentary that they even make a yummy breakfast for you, so the fact that they even make it at night and put it in your fridge for you to wake up to is going above and beyond in terms of attentive service. I can't wait to go back and will definitely stay here or at Gastón's other location in Tulum, and have already been recommending it to friends! Lovely place, lovely experience, lovely people. :)
